Clean Metal Processes is a technologydriven company that has developed recycling technologies and production technologies for Aluminium, Silicon and Titan.
Al processing
There exist a few available technologies that separates the oxides (AlO3) from the aluminium (Al).
AlO3 reprocessing
White Dross
- reprocessing of white dross (50% free aluminium)
- end result around 70% dependent on waste
- industrialized, ready for launching
Black Dross
- reprocessing of black dross (below 50% free Al)
- end result dependent on waste
- industrialized, but tests needed on specific waste used
FeSi processing
Currently most of the silicon slurry is reprocessed to lower value products, or stored by the wafer producer. This means that there is a potential for increasing the profit for the waste owner.
CMP has developed a cutting edge method for reprocessing of silicon slurry (kerf). It is a two step continuously model, which where the processing part is up and running and the cleaning of unwanted material is developed, but need to be industrialized.
SiO2 reprocessing
Silicon Waste to FerroSilicon
- reprocessing 100% of the Si and SiO2
- end result depends on waste, but normally 92-97% Si
- industrialized, ready for launching
Silicon Slurry FerroSilicon
- reprocessing 100% of the Si and SiO2
- end result depends on waste, but normally 92-97% Si
- industrialized, ready for launching
Silicon Waste/Slurry to metallurgical silicon (up to 99,9x% Si)
- reprocessing 100% of the Si and SiO2
- cleaning process is developed, needs testing
FeSi Casting alloy from waste
- industrialized, ready for launching
